Things We Found For Dogs Who Deserve The Finer Things In Life

We found very few things that bring us more joy than buying gifts for our pups.

  1. Layla Pet Bed

Promising Review: “My dog Tripp seemed to know it was for him even before I took it out of the box. Within the first hour he was taking a nap in it. My poor old guy no longer has to sleep on the floor in the living room. Thank you so much layla!” — Catelyn O.

Editor’s Thoughts: The Layla pet bed works wonders for your dog. Whether they're an old guy with hip problems or a younger guy full of energy, this bed will tucker them out and get them snoozing like the king or queen they are. Our senior labrador absolutely fell in love with the Layla Pet Bed, snuggling into its sides within seconds.

2. Orvis Backseat Extender

Promising Review: “We just got these extenders 2 weeks ago. We used to have a sling in the backseat to keep our dog safe from falling between the seats. Now with these foam extenders it not only keeps her from falling, but also gives her a little extra room to stretch out. I am completely satisfied with this product.” — Pawwaw

Editor’s Thoughts: This is one of the most innovative pet products we've seen in 2020. This backseat extender is for all of the dogs that get trapped in the middle row for car rides. Designed to sit in the footwells of the backseat, this extender gives pups more room to stretch out, while also preventing any slips into the gaps.

3. Orvis Lightweight Ramp

image_2020-11-16_030429.png

Promising Review: “We use the adjustable length ramp to assist our aging black lab Scout with enterprise nag and leaving our RV as well as our SUV. Fits perfectly and securely over our steps. She walked right up the first try. The nonslip surface helped with her instability issues. We highly recommend this ramp. You can’t go wrong!” — Jackie

Editor’s Thoughts: This lightweight ramp from Orvis provides a non-slip walking surface for dogs to get in and out of high places. It's designed out of polyethylene and aluminum, and can support up to 400lbs (although we hope your dog is significantly less than that). The sides are telescoping, allowing for easy storage and portability. Our resident black lab took a bit of treat bribing to get on, but once on the ramp, it was all smooth sailing, and provided a much better solution than the human crane lift to get into and out of our SUV.

Promising Review: “Amazing ! Fits my two 90lb labradors perfectly. Keeps them dry and warm during the winter when it’s snowing.” — Jungfrau

Editor’s Thoughts: While Pendleton has been known for its human jackets, our resident black lab has been waiting for years for one of his own. From Pendleton comes the Harding Dog Coat, one of the most luxurious coats we've seen for pets. It features a warm polyester/acrylic cover with a quilted polyster faux suede lining and an easy velcro snap on. It's machine wash, an absolute must for any outdoor loving dog, and is sure to keep many dogs warm this winter.

Get it on Pendleton starting at $49.

A new launch by BarkBox!

Editor’s Thoughts: From BarkBox collaborations comes the newest Peanuts collection, complete with toys and snacks that are fitting of the Peanuts characters and even more so for our furry friends. Our resident black lab can attest to the flavor, and fun of the toys, while we can attest to the durability of the toys (Aka no white fluff even days after introduction!)
