Bathroom Products You’ll Wish You Bought Years Ago.

While we’re probably not heading to the spas anytime soon, that’s no reason we can’t transform our home bathrooms into one (and maybe call a fellow spouse in for some pampering?)

  1. Yamazaki Home Tower Slim Bathroom Cart

image_2020-11-08_024803.png

Promising Review: “I love how slim it is. Fit perfect where I am using it!!” — Marie P.

Editor’s Thoughts: I’m not sure about you, but we’ve reached that point in the pandemic where we are sick of reaching for a roll of TP only to be scrambling for scraps, and then needing to call your partner to grab you a roll from the storage closet across the hall. The Yamazaki Bathroom Cart is the perfectly sized little nook for all of your bathroom accoutrement. We love it’s sleek reversibility, where one side is solid and closed off, allowing for a quick hidden cache of any unsightly bathroom products. It comes nearly built, with just 10 minutes of assembly time to attach a handle and wheels.

2. Goshi Exfoliating Towel

image_2020-11-08_181133.png

Promising Review: “After 3 pumps of your favorite body wash on a regular washcloth, I feel like I barely have enough suds to get my arms washed, before using even more body wash... This morning, I bunched up my Goshi Towel, added 3 squirts of body wash, and not only was there enough soap to wash my entire body, the whole shower was full of suds, and I had to rinse all of it off the walls. It was unbelievable. I also feel a "New Level" of clean after getting out of the shower. Hands feel baby soft. I use it gently on my face also, without applying too much pressure. Helpful hint: This thing is HUGE, so don't just fold it like a washcloth. Instead, bunch it up like a Pouf, and let the lather party begin!” — Netcub

Editor’s Thoughts: GOSHI is the best new product you’ve never tried. Meant to replace your loofah or scrub brush, GOSHI makes it easy to scrub even the hard to reach places. It lathers any soap like a dream, and you can just feel the built-in dirt and grime wash away. This exfoliating towel may feel a bit rough right out of the package, once moistened, it’s gentle on skin and leaves your skin feeling even softer.

3. Dr. Bronners

image_2020-11-15_190506.png

Promising Review: “I have used Dr. Bronner's soap for over a decade. Luv the peppermint products the most. I have replaced most soaps, detergents and even toothpaste in my house with it. There have been crazy days when I am glad I can take the one bottle of peppermint soap and sponge off, brush my teeth, wash my hair, etc...all in one...all in 20 minutes. Aside from great products, Dr. Bronner's family business is ethical and takes care of its employees-- allowing them to be a fair part of the businesses successes. I highly recommend YouTube to see the documentary Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox. It's what made me really fall in luv with everything Dr. Bronner.” — Rhea

Editor’s Thoughts: Dr. Bronner's castile soap has been a longterm staple of many of my friends, and I was super excited to finally get a chance to try some of their products out. Guys, this is no joke. Run, don't walk, to try out Dr. Bronner's. Their Citrus Hair Rinse is with shikakai is above all the most moisturizing and conditioning product that has hit my scalp in decades. Their lotions are ultra-moisturizing, especially needed when I'm pumping out hand sanitizer left and right.

4. Splash Tunes Pro

image_2020-11-15_194223.png

Promising Review: “For the price, this is a great sounding shower speaker. I bought it for my husband as a gift and he loves it! The color options are nice too—I opted for grey as that coordinates best with our shower color. It charges via usb and needs to be removed from the shower to do this. The suction cup seems to work better on glass so we mounted it on a glass partition (see photo). Both of us were able to connect our iPhones to it so we can both use it (although my phone wouldn’t connect until his was out of range) which is nice.” — Rebecca P.

Editor’s Thoughts: For the singing in the shower types, Splash Tunes Pro brings in a unique twist to music in the shower or tunes on the beach. As a waterproof and 6ft drop durable bluetooth speaker, the Splash Tunes has a 14 hour battery life, with a full charge after only 90 minutes. Whether it be kayaking or paddle boarding, kiddie pool lounging or showering, the Splash is a great companion to bring. One of the greatest features is it's powerful and large suction cup - we haven't been able to find something it doesn't suction to. The sound comes out great, even when wet, and connects to any Bluetooth enabled device.

range_shot_52d2562b-bcaa-4866-b4e0-32d7d5781baa_2048x2048.jpg

Promising Review: “I have always been that kid who could never wear regular latex/adhesive bandaids. I am so allergic and so sensitive to the [of course] most common, cheapest, cutest, longest lasting bandaids. I would swell, rash, and welt up from using them to the point where the reactions to the bandaids were more irritating than the reason for the bandaid itself! These PATCH bandages are amazing. They actually help, the stickiness doesn’t stay after you remove one, they are super long lasting, even stays on in water, they’re comfy and flexible, and I have no negative reactions to them whatsoever. I love ‘em. Buying them always. Plan on bringing them into the classroom for my students. Thank goodness for these bandaids, wish they were around when I was little.” — Dakota V.

Editor’s Thoughts: Patch are the cutest band-aids that are made of bamboo. Using sustainable bamboo, Patch strips are hypoallergenic, latex-free, paraben-free, and biodegrade (yay Earth!). Patch has several options available for its strips, ranging from containing aloe vera or coconut oil, to featuring cute little pandas, our favorite.
